Looking back at VIPER: A 2024 of achievements and plans ahead.

· By Equipo VIPER

VIPER-2024-milestones

This year is coming to an end, leaving us with valuable lessons and progress that reaffirm our commitment to emergency management. As we close this chapter, we reflect on what we have achieved and look to the future convinced that the best is yet to come.

2024 was a milestone for VIPER as we celebrated 10 years of commitment and innovation. Since our beginnings at the Third Fire Company of Ñuñoa, we have transformed the way organizations deal with critical situations, making a significant impact in Chile and beyond.

We now have 106 clients, including 18 of the 24 fire departments in the Santiago Metropolitan Region and 86 dispatch centers nationwide, covering 80% of Chile’s population, as well as three private clinics with rescue services: Los Andes, Alemana and Las Condes.

VIPER’s highlights in 2024

Our mission of saving lives through accurate, timely information remains the driving force behind everything we do. This year we achieved:

  • Technological innovation: we launched a new feature in our VIPER ONE platform, adding geolocation to improve accuracy and response times.
  • International expansion: we signed our first client in Ecuador, adding new markets for our software, which already operates in Chile, Peru and Argentina.
  • Local commitment: we formed a strategic alliance with the fire departments of the Valparaíso Region, optimizing the response to wildfires.
  • Trade shows and conferences: we attended Seguridad EXPO in Chile, as well as international conferences in the United States, Colombia and Mexico, strengthening our network and sharing knowledge.
  • Media presence: we took part in interviews and conversations across radio, webinars, TV and print, getting even closer to our key audiences.

Looking to the future

Next year will mark the start of a new era for VIPER with the launch of VIPER IA, an assistant based on generative artificial intelligence that will transform the way emergencies are reported and verified.

We will also focus our efforts on consolidating the Ecuadorian market and on the ambitious goal of reaching around 40 clients in Mexico, expanding our presence in Latin America.

We end the year happy with our achievements, reaffirming that our vision and purpose are guiding us toward an even more promising future. Here’s to a 2025 full of challenges and, above all, a renewed commitment to emergency management and people’s well-being.
