The technology solutions company will take part in an event organized by DRJ en Español magazine, which will bring together the region’s leading players in crisis management and organizational resilience.
From October 9 to 11, Bogotá will become the international hub for institutional crisis management, bringing together professionals and companies in the field at the 13th Ibero-American Conference on Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Organizational Resilience, organized by DRJ en Español magazine.
Among the participating organizations will be VIPER, a technology solutions company that has established itself in Chile in sectors such as schools, airlines, clinics and public safety teams, thanks to its innovative emergency management software. This time, it will have the opportunity to present its latest innovations to an audience from across Latin America and Spain.
Camilo Salazar, co-founder and COO of VIPER, said the company will have an information booth. “We will be side by side with American and European companies, which will let us build strategic connections in the industry and raise awareness of our brand and the value proposition that has made us well known in Chile.”
Industry leaders
The seminar will focus on crucial topics to help organizations prepare for and respond efficiently to crises and disasters. It will feature leading international experts from countries such as England, the United States, Peru and Mexico, who will share their knowledge and innovative strategies in the current global context.
"We are very excited to attend presentations by other technology companies, learn from their experiences and see what their journey has been like in other parts of the world. We are also keen to meet Colombian participants, to understand the country’s reality and explore how we could contribute to that market," said Salazar.
The prestige of DRJ
The event is organized by Disaster Recovery Journal (DRJ), a US publication with more than 30 years of history, considered a world leader in business continuity and disaster recovery. DRJ has published in Spanish since 2011, reaching a wide audience in this segment.
“For us, DRJ is a very important publication, not only because it covers the subject seriously and with dedication, but also because it has been key to our international expansion, allowing us to showcase our innovations in countries such as Peru and Ecuador,” the COO added.
VIPER International
VIPER has been operating in Chile for more than 10 years and is a pioneer in emergency management software. Its products include VIPER MASS, a mass notification system for emergencies, and VIPER ONE, a dispatch platform for emergency communication centers. These solutions are widely used by fire departments, public safety teams and schools, among other key sectors.
The conference in Bogotá will be a valuable opportunity for VIPER and other experts to exchange ideas and keep strengthening institutional resilience worldwide, an increasingly crucial issue for companies in the region.
